The imposing Fort at Aptera overlooking Souda Bay is currently undergoing extensive renovations. We are delighted that in 2010 we will be able to offer weddings to couples who choose to get married at this stunning location. Please contact me if you are interested in getting married at the Fort and we will be happy to discuss your plans.
I have just returned from two fabulous weeks in Crete. During my stay I was able to attend the wedding of Chris and Alison. It was a wonderful day with Alison, Chris and all their lovely guests. The wedding took place at one of my favourite wedding venues in Crete, The Chapel of St Lazarus in Rethymnon.
I will be posting more images in the wedding gallery from the wedding as soon as Alison and Chris have seen them.

In addition to arranging weddings for couple's in Crete, I am also an experienced wedding photographer in the UK. If you are getting married in Crete between 21 May and the 2 June and you are interested in using my photography services, please don't hesitate to contact me and we can have a chat about your options.

I have just booked up my first trip to Crete for 2009. I will be on the Island for two weeks from 19th May 2009. If you are also in Crete at this time and you are interested in meeting up to have a chat about your wedding plans for either late Summer 2009, or 2010 please drop me a line.
I will be in Crete again in August and October 2009 if May is not convenient for you. Otherwise I am always available to meet up wherever possible in the UK.

I received a message this week from Luke and Gemma Smith. Luke and Gemma were married at Chania City Hall in 2007. They wrote to tell me they were expecting their first child. This is wonderful news, and Ilias and I would like to pass on our congratulations. The pitter-patter of little feet will be a welcome addition to a lovely family.

A classic clip from Zorba The Greek. It's amazing that forty odd years later, despite all the tourist development, the beach where this scene was filmed has actually changed very little. Now watch closely and you could learn the steps in time for your wedding :)
One of the restaurants we recommend in Chania for your wedding reception is a lovely taverna called Ela. Tucked away in the back streets in the old part of Chania. The cuisine is essentially Cretan with superbly-cooked traditional dishes. The building itself dates back to the 17th century and is full of rustic charm. It has a very special ambiance and your dining experience takes place under the stars as the building has no roof. In this clip you can see and hear Cretan musicians, who play in the restaurant in the evenings.
